Obituary:
KERNERSVILLE-William “Bill” Edward Kirk, 85, went home to be with the
Lord on Sunday, October 9, 2011. He was born September 17, 1926 in
Pageton, WV to the late Robert and Amie Kirk.
Bill was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Roger D.
Kirk; three brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Freda Kirk of the home; his
daughter, Gayle (Gary) Beal of High Point; seven grandchildren; four
wonderful great-grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 12:00 noon Wednesday, October 12,
2011 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Jason Murray
officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The
family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral
home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Hospice Home at High
Point, 1803 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
