JUDITH “JUDY” RAE BUCKELS of Tucson, AZ, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Judy was born in S. Carolina on August 1, 1942, raised in W. Virginia and moved to Tucson, Arizona as a young adult where she lived out the rest of her life. Judy enjoyed a long and satisfying career as a real estate agent with affiliations through Realty Executives, Coldwell Banker and most recently Long Realty. Judy is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred E. Esak, her step-father, John Esak, Jr., and her husband, Dr. Larry J. Buckels. She is survived by her significant other Wynn Scott, her brother Joe R. Esak (wife Iris), sister Janice E. Spencer (husband Charles H.), niece Valerie Amber Maez (husband Anthony), great nephew Isaiah M. Maez, and great nieces Jocelyn A. Maez, Samara N. Maez, Melina A. Maez and close friend Michele Stevens. Judy was a friend to all who entered her life. She loved life, had a zest for life, was full of life and brought life to everything she experienced. Judy, we will love you forever with all are hearts and will miss you for the rest of our lives on earth. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012, 10:00 a.m., at Pantano Christian Church, 1755 S Houghton. In lieu of flowers, please give to the Arthritis Foundation, the Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society in Judy’s honor. Arrangements by Adair Funeral Homes, Dodge Chapel.
