CROSSVILLE, Tenn. — Donald ‘Butch’ Webb, age 70, of Crossville,
Tenn., passed away on November 18, 2011 at his home. His final days were spent
surrounded by family and friends.
He was born March 14, 1941 in Yukon, W.Va. to Donald and Marie Webb.
Mr. Webb served in the U.S. Army. He was a lifetime member of the American
Legion. He was an engineer mine foreman at the U.S. Steel Mine located in Gary
and Pineville, W.Va.
His interests included family, bluegrass music, golfing and motorcycles.
Mr. Webb was survived by his mother, Marie Blankenship Webb of Ashland, Ky.;
his sister, Brenda Popovich and her husband, Larry of Worthington, Ky. He is
also survived by his wife of 39 years, Janet; and his three children, Donna
Cook and husband, Steve of Sweetwater, Tenn., Glenis Brown of Crossville,
Tenn., Michael Vickers and wife, Tonya of Pineville, W.Va. He is also survived
by one niece, and nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on March 17, 2012 at Woodlawn Memorial Park in
Bluefield, W.Va.
