Joseph Ricky Nogosky ALABASTER, Ala. — Joseph Ricky Nogosky, 55, of 1011 Independence Drive Alabaster, Ala., formerly of Gary, W.Va. passed away on Monday, June 01, 2009 at Montgomery Regional Medical Center in Blacksburg, Va. He was born April 26, 1954 in Welch, W.Va. to Joseph Nogosky of Elbert, W.Va. and the late Maggie Amcola Nogosky.

 Rick resided in Alabaster, Ala. with his loving wife, Patricia Grahovac Nogosky. He graduated from Gary High School in 1972 and Marshall University in 1976. He was previously employed by the U.S. Steel Mining Company for 26 years.

 Rick will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include: His wife, Patricia Grahovac Nogosky of Alabama; two sisters, Drema Altizer of Coalwood, W.Va., Rosanna Vallo of Welch, W.Va.; one niece, Dr. Melanie Altizer of Virginia; one stepdaughter, Nicole Askew of Columbiana, Ala.; two stepgrandchildren, Nicholas and Jana Askew of Alabama; special friends and golf buddies include John "Buc" Buccarelli, Larry McCarty and Ron Osborne, all of Alabama

 Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 04, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, W.Va. with Speaker Ron Osborne officiating the service. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home by 12:45 p.m. on Thursday.
